The DIGIS II project involves the technical modernisation of the international research platform GEOROC and its further development into a future-proof, open research platform. The project, which is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is being carried out jointly by SUB Göttingen and the Geoscience Centre at University of Göttingen. The aim is to make geochemical data from all over the world permanently available in accordance with the FAIR principles – i.e. in such a way that it is easy to find, freely accessible, well networked and reusable.
